About Erica Lane I help uncover the drivers beneath the noise. The challenges organizations struggle with are rarely the real problem. My work is helping leaders see what is truly driving outcomes, so they can make better decisions about people, their organizations, and their future. My career has never followed a traditional path, and that’s one of my greatest strengths. I earned a degree in mechanical engineering from MIT. Worked in forensic science. Worked in forensic science, explored human behavior through fields as diverse as image management and yoga instruction. Advised organizations through mergers and acquisitions. Served as an interim chief operating officer, and became both a certified assessment specialist and a certified exit planning advisor. Every step has given me another lens for understanding people, leadership, and organizational success. For nearly a decade, I helped build National Assessment Services, and today I have the privilege of leading the organization as its owner. Throughout that journey, I’ve partnered with organizations to make better decisions about hiring, leadership, succession, and culture, translating science into action. Leaders have trusted me with one of their most valuable assets, their people and culture. From executive selection and leadership development to succession and organizational transformation, I help leaders look beneath the surface, uncover what matters most, and build stronger, healthier, more valuable organizations.
Today, my work also includes helping business owners increase value by strengthening human and social capital. Through concepts such as the Sleep Like a Baby Sabbatical and business stress testing, I help leaders build organizations that can thrive, adapt, and grow. I don’t believe the best solutions come from a single perspective. Through the Coevolution collaborative, I assemble the right mix of specialists for each challenge. That can include IO and clinical psychologists, economists, systemic team coaches, master facilitators, culture specialists, and marketing and communications strategists. My role is to help leaders clarify what matters most. guide the process, and bring together the expertise needed to create lasting results. If you’re looking for someone who can help uncover the drivers beneath the noise, translate complexity into clarity, and connect you with the right expertise to move forward, I’d welcome a conversation.
